At Sworddepot.com we realize that each customer has different shipping needs. We have implemented a system that allows our customers to choose the shipping method that best meets their needs and budget. 1. EXPEDITED PARCEL
Our most economical shipping method is Expedited Parcel. This is a great value for customers who want to save a little money and can afford to wait a little longer to get their order. With Expedited Parcel the package is sent by regular mail with a tracking number. Once the package is shipped our Canadian customers can expect to receive their package in approximately 4 business days. Our American customers should allow approximately 12-16 business days after the shipping date. If the parcel does not arrive to our customer in the approximate time frame noted we are able to track its whereabouts.
2. EXPRESSPOST
The next option available to our customers is ExpressPost. This is a great method of shipping for customers who need their parcel a little quicker but who don’t want to pay the high costs of a courier. Once the package is shipped our Canadian customers can expect their package to arrive in 2 business days. Our American customers should receive their package in 6 business days. ExpressPost is roughly double the cost of Expedited Parcel. Again, this option includes a tracking number so we can easily track the parcel if it does not arrive to our customer in a timely manner.3. COURIER
Lastly, we do offer the option of having your package delivered by courier. This option is quite costly and would probably only be the method of choice if you needed the package right away and were not too concerned with the costs of delivery. We include this option because we know that sometimes it is worth the extra costs to have the package arrive right away. Customers can expect to pay approximately three times more than they would if they chose delivery by Expedited Parcel. When an item is sent by courier it will arrive to both our Canadian and American customers 2 business days after being shipped.
CUSTOMERS MAY NEED TO ALLOW ONE EXTRA WEEK
We would like to note that in addition to all of the shipping times as set out above, our customers should allow approximately one extra week. We do our best to keep costs as low as possible for our customers so there are some items that we do not keep in stock regularly. We ask customers to allow an extra week to accommodate the times we may need to bring the item in from our suppliers.
CHANGING YOUR MIND
Please note that our system is set up to allow you to change your shipping option BEFORE you submit the order. For example, if you choose Courier and then change your mind when the total price is calculated you can just click on the “back” button on the top of your screen to return to the previous screen and choose another shipping method instead. Once you are sure you have the shipping method that is right for you it is time to submit the order. Please note that once you submit the order you cannot change your mind.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS
To keep costs reasonable for our international customers our system is set up to charge for surface mail delivery only. If your package is small and less than 1 pound we will send it by small packet Air. When choosing a shipping method our international customers should simply choose International. Please allow at least 6-8 weeks for delivery. If you would like a quote for a different shipping method internationally please email us and we will provide that to you.
